We are looking for a trainee to join our team of Elisa Viihde professionals!

This is a unique opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team building fast-evolving entertainment business in Finland. The position is fixed term from April to October. The specific preferred dates will be agreed together. 

Sustainable digital entertainment services provided by Elisa Viihde includes tv-services and streaming services. With the cultural footprint of approximately 40 million euros in 2022, Elisa Viihde is one of the most significant financiers of Finnish series and movies. Elisa Viihde is also one of the biggest commissioners and exporters of Finnish drama with +30 Elisa Viihde original series premiered to date and sold to +70 countries. Hit titles include internationally distributed and critically acclaimed original series ’Ivalo’, ’Munkkivuori’, ’Pohjolan laki’, ‘Kaikki synnit’, and ‘Mies joka kuoli’.

You participate in developing the most popular entertainment service in Finland. You are encouraged to take initiative and make a difference. You work closely with senior executives and subject matter experts with deep domain knowledge in digital entertainment services.

As trainee your work also includes: 

• Coordination of material deliveries and publication schedules for movie and series content
• Assist in content selection and reporting, utilizing data and analytics
• Design, implementation, and monitoring of content campaigns and promotions across various service platforms
• Participate in business development and data analytics projects
• Collaborate with content, commercial, marketing communications and software development

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Ability to support business objectives and communicate effectively with target audiences across different platforms and services
• Reporting skills: understanding of statistics and familiarity with relevant tools, at least Excel, Powerpoint
• Data analysis skills: ability to gather and combine data from various sources and to transform data into usable form e.g. to build reports and analyze customer behavior supporting business needs
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Capability to organize, prioritize and deliver successful results when working simultaneously in multiple projects
• Ability to work both creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
• Enthusiasm for data analytics and data-driven business development
• Suitable academic studies (BA or MA) that are preferably near completion 
• Fluency in Finnish and English
