Accessibility Statement for the General Sections of Elisa.fi
This accessibility statement applies to the general sections of the elisa.fi website related to purchasing and transactions. We explain how accessible the general sections of elisa.fi are, what shortcomings exist in their accessibility, and how you can provide us feedback about the accessibility of the service.
The service is partly subject to the Act on the Provisioning of Digital Services, which implements the European Accessibility Act and applies from 28 June 2025. - Not all visual content has a text alternative that describes what the image, icon, or graphical element represents. Some decorative images also have unnecessary text alternatives.
- For complex images (charts, graphs, diagrams) or images containing text, the information in the image is not always provided as text.
- Not all non-informative images are hidden from screen readers.

Keyboard Accessibility
- On some pages, keyboard focus starts at an incorrect location.

- The Videobot element has shortcomings in keyboard operation.

- Some links open in a new window without this being indicated with the link.
- There is no indication that certain links are anchor links.
- Form field error messages are only shown after focus moves away.
- Validation errors related to inputs are not always clear for screen readers.
- The footer contains pages with sections in different languages, but the languages are not marked in a way that assistive technologies can understand.
